Color light therapy in the treatment and rehabilitation of certain neurological diseases

SUMMARY The review considers the clinical results of the use of color light therapy of various spectral composition in the treatment of certain neurological diseases: craniocerebral trauma, chronic cerebral ischemia and ischemic compression neuropathies, as well as at the stage of early medical rehabilitation in order to correct post-stroke cognitive abnormalities as a result of ischemic cerebrovascular accident. The analysis of the results of clinical observations showed a significant improvement in the objective clinical and laboratory parameters and the quality of life of patients as a result of the use of color light therapy in the treatment of neurological
diseases and made it possible to identify the features of the therapeutic effect of light therapy
with different wavelengt
