The consequences of a closed craniocerebral injury (CCI) can be so serious for a child that today this problem is extremely urgent not only in pediatric neurology, but also in pediatrics. Children who have suffered a concussion or, much more severe, a contusion of the brain, need close supervision by a neurologist for at least 1 year from the moment of injury.

At the same time, it is envisaged to conduct several courses of drug therapy, which is necessary to treat the consequences of trauma that we often note in this group of children: intense headaches, a sharp decrease in mental performance, severe fatigue, and sleep disturbances. The long-term and most dangerous consequences for the child’s health of the postponed traumatic brain injury include the formation of post-traumatic encephalopathy in the form of cerebrasthenic syndrome, cerebrospinal fluid syndrome, episyndrome.
