In cardiology, various stress methods are used to assess the coronary reserve (bicycle ergometry, treadmill, transesophageal stimulation of the heart, intravenous administration of curantil, recently – stress echocardiography). They allow evaluating the effectiveness of the therapy, however, in case of exacerbation of coronary heart disease (CHD), these methods are contraindicated [1].
