In the past 5 years, the number of convicts serving sentences in institutions of the Federal Penitentiary
Service for crimes related to drug trafficking and crimes related to drug use has increased. In this regard,
medical workers are faced with the problem of diagnosing and treating drug addiction among convicts who
previously used narcotic and psychotropic drugs. To clarify the diagnosis, testing has begun on the hardwaresoftware
complex “IMEDIS-EXPERT” of the convicts arriving at a stage during the quarantine period, in a staging
room. When conducting an examination using the ART method, a psychological contact is established with the
patient, he is informed about this technique
