IT technologies and new approaches in postgraduate medical and psychological education in a pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has made major changes in the life of modern society, including in the educational process. Several years ago it would have been difficult to imagine the possibility of distance learning in medicine, but today it is already a reality. The Department of Integrative Medicine, Clinical Psychology and Music Therapy of the RAMSR conducts educational online cycles of retraining and advanced training in psychology, clinical psychology and music therapy, as well as in current medical and interdisciplinary areas.

Advanced IT technologies are used, including an Internet platform for distance learning. The department has modern equipment for complex diagnostics and therapy. The staff of the department provides consultations and rehabilitation treatment for patients with psychosomatic and nervous disorders, with autism and mental retardation; carry out photodynamic therapy, as well as comprehensive rehabilitation programs for cancer patients.
