Introduction The negative impact of the environment on the human respiratory system contributes to the chronicity of pathological processes in the lungs. External environmental factors either exacerbate the sluggish course of the disease, or are the trigger mechanism for the occurrence of systemic connective tissue diseases. Until now, a search is underway for specific infectious and parasitic etiological factors that combine the development of autoimmune and immunocomplex processes with excessive fibroid formation.

The initial stage of pulmonary fibrosis corresponds to pulmonary fibrosis. Pneumofibrosis (PNF) is in the group of lung diseases affecting interstitial tissue – code J84.1 according to ICD 10 (International Classification of Diseases). PNP as a disease belongs to the group of pneumosclerotic diseases, in which there are also diseases such as pneumosclerosis and cirrhosis of the lungs. PNF is not an independent disease, but is a consequence of the primary focus of inflammation.
