It is difficult to overestimate the importance of the state of loose connective tissue in the
development of pathological processes [1–6].
The description of the mechanism of damage to the mesenchyme in the pathogenesis of any damage was
proposed by G.-G. Reckeweg in the theory of homotoxicosis [7].
The theory is based on the idea of the accumulation of toxic factors in the intercellular space at
the first stages of the disease – the humoral phases of homotoxicosis – which are the initial, reversible
