Extreme high-frequency (EHF) puncture is based on the use of various biological effects of low-intensity electromagnetic radiation (EMR) of the millimeter range (wavelength 10-1 mm, frequency 30300 GHz) and the acupuncture theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Despite the fact that EHF-puncture uses the same principles as traditional acupuncture, nevertheless, it is necessary to pay attention to some of its features.
