In the context of an intense technogenic load on the environment, when more than 14 million chemicals have been synthesized in the world, and in some water bodies the possibility of the presence of 2 to 14 thousand chemicals is hypothetically shown, even without taking into account the constantly growing biological component, it is obvious that traditional water treatment technologies in the 21st century will not be able to provide a sufficient barrier function. Russia, with a high probability, will turn out to be one of the first states in the world, which will have to urgently solve the problems of additional processing (purification, disinfection, conditioning) of tap water in the final terminals of its direct consumption by the population.
