Bronchial asthma is a chronic allergic disease. There are two main forms of bronchial asthma: infectious-allergic and non-infectious-allergic (atopic). The first is related to sensitization with bacterial allergens as a result of preliminary long-term treatment with antibacterial drugs in connection with acute and chronic bronchitis, mycotic pneumonia, etc. The atopic form belongs to the group of hereditary allergic diseases and is caused by non-infectious allergens.
