About psoriasis and alcohol

In addition to the almost monographic article by I.V. Fedorovskaya and O.I. Eliseeva about psoriasis [1] I would like to add my observations about the
treatment of patients with psoriasis. In two cases, we were unable to obtain a sustained remission. While the patients were under our round-the-clock
supervision, the improvement was significant, but after a few days of staying at home, the disease returned. After talking with relatives, it turned out that these
patients had “latent allergic reactions – food (most often to the patient’s favorite foods)” [2 ]. In our case, it was an alcohol allergy. Here it was necessary to treat not
alcohol dependence, but alcohol allergy. And alcohol dependence could appear
later.
