The article summarizes information about the fruits of some stone fruits of the Rosaceae family that grow in Russia and are traditionally used in Russian and
other national cuisines in the territory of the former USSR. The correct use of these fruits in nutrition can provide real help in the treatment of patients with various
diseases, as well as avoid complications from their use. For each plant: cultivated cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh.), Common cherry (Cerasus vulgaris Mill.),
Common peach (Persica vulgaris Mill.), Domestic plum (Prunus domestica L.) and sweet cherry (Cerasus avium (L.) Moench) provides information on the chemical
