Patient Z., 56 years old, applied to the Center on 18.10.2005 with complaints of a persistent exhausting cough with a spastic component with abundant white
foamy sputum. This condition was observed in a woman for about 2 years. Examined by an allergist, negative test results were obtained. After examining
sputum and scrapings from the tonsils and the posterior pharyngeal wall at the Department of Microbiology, a diagnosis was made – candidiasis of the upper
respiratory tract (candida and green streptococcus were found). She was repeatedly treated by therapists and pulmonologists with the help of medicines
and acupuncture without any effect.
