It is known that adaptive bioresonance therapy (BRT) increases the general resistance of the mother and fetus organisms to hypoxia, improves the conditions for the intrauterine existence of the fetus by normalizing the functioning of the placenta (R.S. Zamaleeva, 1999). The likelihood of developing placental insufficiency in women with a burdened obstetric history (recurrent miscarriage, spontaneous miscarriage, non-developing pregnancy, history of antenatal fetal death) is high – 50–77% and has no tendency to decrease.
Functional inconsistency of the placenta causes hypoxia, fetal growth and development retardation, its injuries during childbirth, causes a high morbidity in the newborn, and causes disorders in the physical and mental development of the child. The aim of the study was to substantiate the need for the use of BRT for the prevention and treatment of placental insufficiency in pregnant women with a burdened obstetric history (OAA) along with conventional therapy.
