In recent years, the attention of clinicians is increasingly turning to the chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), in the English-language literature Chronic fatigue syndrome, relatively recently formed into a nosological unit. This is due to the increase in the number of patients, both in our country and abroad. Although there are many unclear questions regarding the etiology of the disease, pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of CFS. Most researchers agree on a multifactorial model for the onset of CFS. The emphasis is on chronic viral infection, psychological, social, mental and physical stress factors, lifestyle, psychological characteristics of the patient, unhealthy diet, environmental factors.
