It is well known that training at the Medical University is not easy, it requires a huge potential of compensatory-adaptive systems, primarily high reserves of adaptation and immune forces, which ultimately will determine the ability to learn, psycho-emotional stability of the individual and the state of health in general. In this regard, the purpose of our study is to compare some parameters of the functional state of the body in students who have just come to higher school and are already studying for several years.
For this purpose, 2 groups of students were examined (each group consisted of persons of I – II health groups): Group I: 24 first-year students of the VSMU Lyceum, aged 15-16, among them: 14 boys and 10 girls – the younger age group; Group II: 26 students of the IV course of VSMU whose average age is 21.5 years, among them: 9 boys and 17 girls – the older age group. The study was carried out in the morning, without pre-study load, one week after the start of the semester.
