Broncho-obstructive syndrome is a clinical symptom complex most often observed in patients with bronchial asthma (BA), chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis. Leading clinical manifestations of the syndrome are expiratory dyspnea, persistent or recurrent breathing difficulties, and asthma attacks. Violation of the patency of the respiratory tract against the background of frequent respiratory infections contributes to the recurrence of the infectious and inflammatory process in the bronchial tree, eventually leading to the development of pneumosclerosis, emphysema, respiratory and heart failure.
