Currently, there is an urgent need to develop a technology for lowering the hazard class of asbestos. In the
countries of the Single Economic Community (EEC), since January 1, 2005, a ban on the use of asbestos has been in
effect, since the World Health Organization (WHO) has recognized it as an unconditional fibrocarcinogen. This led
to the “asbestos crisis” in the form of an unsatisfied demand on the world market, since there is no, and will not
be, an alternative material with such a uniquely wide range of properties
