SUMMARY The article outlines approaches to planning and conducting clinical trials to form an acceptable evidence base for homeopathic therapy. According to the author, the stumbling block for the acceptance of the results of modern
randomized clinical trials (RCTs) of homeopathic medicines is the erroneous application of Avogadro’s law for ideal gases to potentiated solutions and the requirement for randomization when forming the study sample.
