Bioresonance therapy (BRT) is actively developing today both in our country and abroad. We can talk about the formation of a new directionbioresonance medicine (BR-medicine, BRM), within which there ismany advances in diagnostics and therapy. However, there is still a high need for the development of theoretical knowledge, adequate mathematical models that could organically assimilate the vast accumulated experience of BRM.
The BRM theory raises an even more general theme of theoretical biology and medicine. Are biology and medicine possible as full-fledged theoretical disciplines, and if so, what is the nature of their theoretical knowledge? This question turns out to be largely dependent on the philosophical position of the scientist, in particular on his adherence to the philosophy of reductionism or holism.Reductionism (from the Latin reductio – simplification) – a direction that assertsthe possibility of complete reduction of biology and medicine to physics and chemistry.
