SUMMARY One of the popular methods of healing in the Republic of Tuva is treatment on natural
healing springs – arzhaans. Fresh arzhaans make up 70% of the 220 names of healing waters of
Tuva registered to date. The relevance of conducting hydrogeochemical studies of fresh
arzhaans and identifying their healing effect is due to the fact that the indigenous population of
the Tyva Republic uses mineral and fresh arzhaans for treatment.
