Introduction For thousands of years, scientists have been struggling to find a means that could quickly and
effectively save humanity not only from diseases, but also slow down the aging of the body. Since ancient times, the blood of newborn babies has been used to rejuvenate the senile organism. In the 90s of the twentieth century, the Moscow International Institute of Biological Medicine was created in
Russia to produce the “elixir of youth” from abortive human embryos- drugs for embryonic or fetal therapy (fеtus – in Latin “fruit”). To rejuvenate the body, improve potency in older men, as well as treat children with cerebral palsy and old people with Alzheimer’s disease, embryos at the age of 14-25
weeks are used. Moreover, the cost of such a “therapeutic use” of a fetal drug is impressive: one
injection of the drug costs 500-2000 US dollars (quoted by S. Meteleva. Newspaper “Moskovsky
Komsomolets” dated September 26, 2003).
