Peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer (PUD) chronic recurrent disease, prone to – To progression and involvement in the painful process of other organs and systems of the
digestive system. The frequency of ulcer among the child population is 0.7–6% and is the same in boys and girls.
According to the literature, with peptic ulcer disease in childhood, 73% of patients have a psychovegetative syndrome characterized by hypochondriacal and
anxiety-depressive features. There are many indications of the uniqueness of the personality of patients, they are distinguished by conflict and eccentric behavior,
isolation, increased vulnerability, external restraint (Ryabova L.P., Masevich Ts.G.,
1975).
