Cold injury is a severe injury and is currently considered one of the important causes leading to permanent disability of the injured [11, 17]. The study
of the pathogenesis and effective methods of treatment and prevention of cold injury is important for improving the health of the population living not only in the
northern regions of Russia, but also in milder climatic zones. Even in Moscow in the winter months, victims with cryoinjuries account for 20–25% of the total number of
patients in emergency departments [12]. At the same time, up to 90% of frostbite
occurs in a state of alcoholic intoxication [3, 4, 7].
