The study was conducted on the basis of the Regional Clinical Hospital in Voronezh, and included 70 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA. Before and after treatment, all patients underwent conventional research methods and examination using the IMEDIS-FALL APC and the MINI-EXPERT-DT autonomous apparatus. The patients were divided into 2 equal groups: the main group received treatment with the use of BRT, the control group – without BRT. In parallel, all patients underwent a standard antirheumatic therapy (for more information, see the Collection of Abstracts and Reports of the IX International Conference, Part 1.
Dynamic observation of RA patients was carried out for 6 months. Previously prescribed bioresonance therapy was discontinued, patients remained only on basic RA therapy. As criteria for the general condition of the patient, the definition of adaptation reserves, the state of the immune, endocrine, and autonomic systems, correlated with general biological indices (BI, were used.
The subjective and objective quantitative indicators of the articular syndrome were also analyzed: determination of the severity of pain in the joints (points), pain assessment according to the visual analogue scale (VAS) (mm), morning stiffness (points and minutes), articular count, articular index, counting number of inflamed joints, determination of the strength of compression of the hand (mm Hg), the circumference of the proximal interphalangeal joints, index Richie, functional index and severity index.
