Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic inflammatory disease of the connective tissue. RA is the most common disease among chronic inflammatory diseases of the joints; its prevalence is approximately the same in different countries. According to Nasonova et al. [1], from 1 to 2% of the world’s population suffer from RA, which clearly demonstrates the relevance of studies on the etiopathogenesis of RA and the search for effective methods of its therapy. At previous conferences, we partially reported the results of our research. In this report, we want to summarize the results of the research we have carried out over the past 6-7 years.
In fig. 1 shows a simplified diagram of the etiopathogenesis of RA. This scheme was drawn up on the basis of literary sources, and taking into account the results of the analysis of their own research carried out using the “IMEDIS-FALL” complex. We assign the main role in the development of rheumatoid arthritis to the functional insufficiency of immunocompetent cells, which develops as a result of external and internal unfavorable circumstances. Therefore, neither antibiotics, nor nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, nor hormones, nor immunosuppressants can and should not solve the problem, so we first investigated what the hyporeactivity of immunocompetent cells is connected with, then we tried to eliminate it.
