We are all quite familiar with the word “dispensary examination”, but we come across the term “in-depth medical examination” a little less often. What do we mean by these words? An in-depth medical examination (UMO) is a complex of medical measures aimed at assessing the health status of the examined persons, in the process of which the following main tasks are solved:
– identification of existing diseases at an early stage;
– determination of risk factors in the development of various pathologies;
– the appointment of a complex of therapeutic and prophylactic measures, taking into account the individual characteristics of the organism.
This allows not only to adequately treat existing diseases, but also to prevent the onset and development of a particular pathology. In other words, in the process of carrying out such a complex of medical measures, we carry out a fairly detailed study of the state of human health using, among other things, paraclinical methods. ULV is conducted once a year, usually in the fourth quarter of the year, and the program of this survey is fairly standard and is repeated from year to year.
