Representatives of the genus Allium and, in particular, onions – Allium cepa L. and common garlic – Allium sativum L. have been widely used as medicines (MP) for several
thousand years. Currently, they are successfully used both in allopathic medicine for the manufacture of medicines and in traditional medicine – homeopathy and herbal medicine
[10]. In a previous publication [10], devoted to the use of these two representatives of the genus
Allium in traditional medicine (TM) in different countries, we outlined the main goal of the study and
a number of tasks that need to be solved for its implementation.
