Treatment of patients with herpetic lesions of the maxillofacial region is a rather difficult task that takes place in clinical dentistry and neurology. Such patients have been treated with varying success for many years, often by various specialists for both direct herpetic lesions of the skin and mucous membranes of the lips, wings of the nose, and neurogenic symptoms, including pain syndromes, burning sensation, sensory disturbances, etc.
Despite this, a complete cure does not occur, and at best, the remission period is lengthened. In this regard, the use of diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of the equipment of the Center “IMEDIS” (Moscow) is more than justified for working with such a contingent of patients. The intellectual developments of the center team headed by Yu.V. Gotovsky, conference materials reflecting the experience of colleagues from our and foreign countries significantly reduce the time when solving many medical problems.
