Historically, modern civilization inherited the legacy of ancient oriental medicine based on the concepts of the five elements and the system of their interrelationships, described by the cycle of mutual generation and suppression of USIN. The high therapeutic effectiveness of this method, as well as modern methods based on this ancient philosophy, has been experimentally proven.
However, the stable effectiveness of the methods, as well as their more complete integration into modern medicine, is hampered by difficulties in translating ancient oriental concepts into modern European language. In turn, modern medical science can significantly increase the effectiveness of treatment, both through a wider and more complete application of the arsenal of oriental medicine, and through the expansion and structuring of the conceptual and philosophical base, as a result of understanding its philosophical aspects in matters of physiology and pathology.
