In recent years, interest in music therapy has significantly increased – as an effective method of non-drug therapy and correction of the functions of vital organs. The study of the influence of music on the activity of the central and peripheral nervous systems made it possible to assume that there is a relationship between the psychophysiological type of personality and musical preferences. It is known that the perception of music depends not only on the musicality of the patient, his degree of musical literacy, the adequacy of perception, but also on his musical interests.
