A holistic approach to the patient implies the definition of his problems both on the somatic and on the psychological planes of his existence. Most of the approaches in our arsenal allow us to identify these problems, while the main difficulties arise at the stage of correlating certain psychological problems with diseases of specific organs or damage to certain acupuncture meridians.
