It is known that the spasm of accommodation is the trigger for the development or progression of myopia (A.I.Dashevsky, 1973). According to A.A. Vatchenko (1979), an imbalance of the autonomic system leads to a spasm of the ciliary muscle, the cause of which is chronic intoxication (tonsillitis, pyelonephritis, colitis, viral infections).
