To date, a fairly large number of agents have been proposed for the local treatment of periodontal diseases, but none of them is universal. Therefore, in the treatment of periodontal diseases, a complex of drugs is most often used (antiseptics, antibiotics, herbal remedies, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, etc.).
