On the basis of a clinical and neurophysiological study of 126 patients with the consequences of a birth injury of the cervical spine in the form of myofascial pain syndrome,
variants of spino-bulbospinal activity were identified, which adequately characterize the peculiarities of adaptation of the central nervous system to the influence of the severity of the course of myofascial pain syndrome. The differentiated treatment is described and its
prognosis is given depending on the variant of the spino-bulbospinal activity.
