The problem of frequently ill children remains one of the most pressing problems in pediatrics. In the structure of infectious morbidity, ARVI ranks first and accounts for 95%. In Moscow, the incidence of ARVI is 1.4 times higher than the average in Russia. The main thing is that from year to year there is practically no tendency to reduce this incidence. So, in 2000, the incidence of ARVI was 12% higher than in 1999. And in 2002-2003, obviously, the incidence will be even higher, given the smog that was in Moscow and the Moscow region from July to September 2002.
When organic matter and debris are burned, dioxins are increasingly contaminated with dioxins, which are considered the most toxic substances ever invented by man. They suppress the human immune system and disrupt metabolic processes. The main source of dioxins is considered to be household waste processing enterprises – one enterprise produces as many toxins as the entire land transport of a large European country.
