There are several different approaches to explaining the mechanism of formation of the internal time of an organism as an integral functional system from objective external time, in other words, physical time. Firstly, it can be assumed that an organism uses a model of its internal time, built by some system outside this organism, so to speak, “reads”, if necessary, data from this external model of time.
This approach will not be considered further in detail, but it is by no means absurd, since the existence of objects-indicators of the internal time of an organism (for example, astrological natal chart) is, if not indisputable, then at least a discussed and argued phenomenon, which in the future can receive a rigorous experimental justification. Secondly, it can be assumed that the model of internal time is built directly by the organism itself. In this case, models are possible in which the organism, in particular, uses to construct the internal time of referring to some external system in relation to it.
