SUMMARY The effect of triterpene glycosides of Saponaria officinalis L. roots on the synthesis of cytokines INFγ, TNFα, IL-1ß, IL-6, IL-4 by human mononuclear cells in vitro was studied. Their dose-dependent immunomodulatory effect was established, aimed at stimulating cellular immunity, which suggests the possibility
of their use in the production of functional food products for the prevention of
immune diseases and prevention of food allergic reactions.
