Purpose of work: to develop a system of complex, pathogenetic treatment of giardiasis in
children and adults, which does not cause deterioration or exacerbation of chronic diseases when
using an anti-lambliasis agent (nemosol). Research objectives:
1. To identify the clinical features of the course of giardiasis in children and adults.
2. To clarify the relationship of giardiasis with the presence of concomitant diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
3. To develop a method for the treatment of giardiasis in children and adults in the conditions of BR medicine,
eliminating or reducing the risk of exacerbation of concomitant gastrointestinal diseases.
4. Conduct a comparative assessment of the long-term results of treatment of giardiasis in children and
adults in BR-medicine and in outpatient settings.
