The prevention of respiratory diseases in childhood is still an unsolved problem, despite a large number of studies and proposed methods of exposure. Apparently, this is due to the complexity of the body’s defense mechanisms, as well as the diversity of violations of these mechanisms in each specific case. Allopathic drugs of immunotropic action cannot be used for a wide range of patients, since, as a rule, they require preliminary expensive immunological studies and subsequent control. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the significant level of food and drug allergies in children and the presence of concomitant background conditions, which can further limit the possibility of prescribing immunocorrectors.
