From exploratory research to the high-tech healthcare industryand new opportunities – 25 years of scientific music therapy

It is quite symbolic that the 25th anniversary conference “Theoretical and Clinical Aspects of Bioresonance and Multiresonance Therapy” coincided with the 25th anniversary of scientific music therapy (NMT) – a related area, systemic research in which began in Russia since 1994. From 1996 to the present, we have taken part in all conferences organized by the “IMEDIS” company.

Every year, we shared with the scientific community new data that we received in the course of ongoing research: from the mechanisms of musical and therapeutic effects on the human body using methods of electropunctural diagnostics, to cell experiments and innovative developments in the field of pain relief and regenerative music therapy. Before the eyes of the conference participants, one of the methods of psychotherapy was evolving into a scientifically grounded therapeutic and prophylactic direction, which was officially recognized in 2003 after the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation approved the manual for doctors “Methods of music therapy”.
