Currently, traumatic brain injury (TBI) ranks first among the causes of death in persons under 45 years of age, ahead of cardiovascular diseases and oncopathology. According to the WHO, the annual increase in injuries is 2%. The urgency of the problem is that TBI leads to high mortality and disability in people of working age. All modern methods of diagnosis and treatment in general do little to change the situation and affect the outcome in severe TBI.
