Three years ago, a patient came to me with a request to help her 47-year-old sister, who is in a serious condition at the regional hospital. She was operated on for a malignant tumor of the breast, but there were metastases in the lung, and exudative pleurisy developed, and signs of heart failure began. The exudate was aspirated in large quantities 3-4 times a week. The problem was that the sister herself did not believe in any alternative treatment, and even such treatment would not have been authorized by the hospital administration, so it was impossible even to start treatment with mistletoe drugs.
