The immune, endocrine and nervous systems are the governing systems for the body. They regulate its work, maintain the constancy of the organism’s environment and protect it from various external influences. No one has any doubts about the unity of these systems, and now we hear more and more often about the neuroimmunoendocrine system as a multicomponent morphofunctional general regulatory system, a “triangle of homeostasis”.
There is a system in the body where all sides of this triangle converge with the maximum effect on the human body – the gastrointestinal tract (GIT).
