SUMMARY This article presents the results of ethnobotanical research on the study of medicinal plants used in folk medicine in the Kazakhstani part of the Altai
mountain system. The research was carried out by polling the local population about the use of medicinal plants in folk practice. As a result of research,
information was obtained on 28 species of medicinal plants most known to the
population.
