In Chinese medicine, the term “Yang”, from the point of view of classical European medicine, corresponds to all functional processes in the body: these are
the body’s energy resources, the functioning of the receptor apparatus,
psychoemotional response, etc. Yin processes correspond to such concepts as: morphological state of the structure, biological substance, the presence of necessary trace elements, vitamins, amino acids, etc. These two concepts are inextricably linked and complement each
other. The mutual influence of the Yang and Yin systems defines the concept of health,
which implies a balance of these two systems.
