The formation of the foundations of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) dates back to the 3rd millennium BC. In this case, the main role is assigned to the ruler Huang-di. However, he did not independently develop the foundations of TCM, but organized and directed the activities of a number of prominent healers – Tsi-bo, Lei-gong, Tong-tszun and others, who laid the pro-scientific theoretical foundations of TCM and developed its basic
methods.
