The role of the cell membrane potential is well known in the context of potassium and sodium ion exchange. The ion exchange mechanism is clear. There
is evidence that the potential of the cell membrane is reduced in certain types of cancer. Several authors have investigated the relationship between mycoplasma and cancer.
Finally, the use of modulated radio frequencies for cancer treatment has been documented.
