The PalmOS operating system was developed in 1996 and was used for organizers or personal digital assistants (PDAs). It should be noted that this OS was
designed for a very specific hardware part – the DragonBall processor family (DSP) from Motorola. And, perhaps, for this all this time, PalmOS has not undergone
major changes (at present, the 5th version of the OS has been released, in which
significant changes have only been made).
