Among the traditional methods of treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of various diseases, aromatic oils have been given pride of place since prehistoric
times. Aromas, spices, oils were used by doctors, kings, pharaohs, monks and Initiates, astrologers and fakirs, artists and musicians. The true flowering of
aromaculture came from the moment the distillation process appeared (X century,
Abu Ali ibn Sina), when people learned to secrete substances – carriers of aroma –
